How to make a virtual staging video
You need two photos of the same room: empty, and staged. Open Staging reveal in Pixly's Video AI, click Use one of your Pixly Stagings to fill both frames, choose how the furniture appears and click Create reel. A 5-second reel shows the empty room furnishing itself. It costs 5 credits with the recommended model.

These are the real Staging reveal screens. Click a step to jump to it.

The five steps
- 01
Stage the room first (or have both photos)
The reel goes from the empty room to the staged one, so it needs both. Stage the empty photo in Pixly first (1 credit), or bring your own staged version. You can also stage it on the reel page: Or let us make this one on the End frame.
- 02
Open Staging reveal
In Pixly, go to Video AI and pick Staging reveal — it's the first card, under before → after.
- 03
Fill both frames
Click Use one of your Pixly Stagings and pick the staging: the empty photo goes to Start, the staged one to End. Or upload the two photos yourself, one in each frame.
- 04
Choose how the furniture appears
Smooth reveal is the default: the pieces fade into place. The other four styles slide them in, drop them, have movers carry them, or draw them in light.
- 05
Create the reel and download it
Kling 2.6 Pro and 5 seconds are set. Click Create reel: 5 credits (8 with Kling v3). The reel lands in Recent and in your Library; download the MP4 for Instagram, TikTok or the listing.

Photos that work best
- The staged photo made from the empty one, so the camera is exactly the same — a Pixly staging is.
- A wide shot with plenty of floor: that's where the furniture lands.
- A truly empty room in the Start frame.
- Bright, level and sharp. The reel keeps what the photos have.
What to avoid
- Two photos taken from different spots: the video morphs between them instead of furnishing one room.
- A cluttered staging — every piece has to appear, and less reads better in five seconds.
- Posting it without saying it's virtually staged where your market or platform asks you to.
