What's new in Pixly

Dated notes on what shipped. Newest first. This is the product, not the blog — no how-tos, just what changed.

  1. iOS app

iOS 1.11 — stay signed in on a weak connection

    • A flaky network no longer signs you out and shows “No active subscription”. The app stays signed in and restores the plan on its own.
    • Starting a render on a slow connection no longer fails.
    • The Account screen is fully translated.
    Open
  2. Photo

Every Features item now has its own page

    • Enhance, Declutter, Remove Furniture, Day to dusk, Land Marker, Staging reveal, Construction timelapse, Cinematic motion, Landmark drop, and 3D Worlds each have a dedicated URL.
    • Virtual staging stays on /virtual-staging. The new pages do not compete with it.
    • All eight languages, with localized slugs where the search phrase is not English.
    • Linked from the Features menu and listed in the sitemap.

  3. Video

Map Video — a listing intro that flies to the property

    • A world-map opening dives to the address, then the streets around the lot draw themselves.
    • The export is the real file. Free with a Pixly account at 1080p; paid plans render 4K on our servers.
    • Listed on the public Tools hub and inside the app — no longer a hidden lab.
    • Map data comes from OpenStreetMap. The exported video does not carry an OSM badge.

  4. Free tools

    Drone video property lines

    • Draw the lot on a drone clip. The outline tracks with the camera.
    • Runs in the browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you ask us to look at a failed track.
    • Free, no watermark.

  5. Free tools

Text behind a person in video

    • Put a title behind someone walking through a listing, cut out frame by frame in the browser.
    • Nothing is uploaded. The original audio stays.
    • Free MP4 export, no watermark.

  6. Platform

    Affiliate program is live

    • Earn 30% of what your referrals pay for their first 12 months.
    • Public apply page, reviewed by hand, paid monthly by PayPal.
    • Approved affiliates get a dashboard and links that work off this machine.

  7. Platform

MCP server — agents can run every paid tool

    • Connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP client to Pixly at pixly.app/api/mcp.
    • Named jobs: virtual staging, enhance, declutter, cinematic motion, and the rest of the catalog. Not a raw model call.
    • OAuth or an API key. Listing the tools is open; running them needs an account.
    • Same tools over REST and `npx pixly-cli`. Schemas are at /docs.

  8. Video

    Cinematic Motion is public

    • 13 named camera moves with real depth from one listing photo.
    • Not a Ken Burns crop — that is the free Photo to Video tool.
    • Video from the Agent plan. Own page at /cinematic-motion.
