No. Face and plate detection runs on your device; the models download once and your photos never leave it. You can disconnect from the internet once the page and models have loaded.

Will it find every face and plate?

It finds most faces and readable plates, including people behind car windows. Very small, blurry or side-on faces can be missed, so check each photo — drag on it to blur anything that was not caught, and tap a box to undo one you do not need.

What does removing the GPS location mean?

Phone photos carry hidden data: the exact GPS position, the camera model and the date. Every photo you download from this tool is saved fresh from the picture alone, so none of that is included.

Can the blur be reversed?

No. Both Blur and Pixelate replace the area with a handful of averaged blocks, so the original detail is gone from the saved file, not just hidden.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Detection takes a second or two per photo on a phone, a little faster on a computer.
