The three steps

  1. 01

    Add your photos

Go to pixly.app/tools/blur-faces-license-plates and drop one photo or many, or click Choose photos. The tool looks for faces and plates and marks each one with a box.

  2. 02

    Check what was found

Every box is blurred. Tap a box to keep that area sharp, and drag on the photo to blur anything that was missed — a house number, a sign, a screen. Under Style, choose Blur or Pixelate.

  3. 03

    Blur and download

Click Blur & download. One photo downloads as a JPG, several as a zip. Location, camera and date data are left out of every download.

Tips for clean, safe photos

  • Check street and exterior shots: parked cars and passers-by are easy to miss.
  • Look into windows and mirrors — reflections can show people too.
  • Blur house numbers and name plates if the address is not public yet.
  • Add all the listing photos at once; they download together.

What to avoid

  • Trusting detection blindly: very small or side-on faces can be missed.
  • Blurring with a light filter in a photo editor — a weak blur can sometimes be read back.
  • Posting the original by mistake: publish the downloaded copy.
