Five surfaces

Walls, floor, kitchen cabinets, bathroom tiles and furniture. Take one, or several in the same run — walls and floor together still cost one credit, and come back as one scheme rather than two.

Twelve finishes each, or your own words

Every surface offers Auto plus twelve finishes: paint colours, panelling, limewash, microcement, oak, herringbone, terrazzo, shaker fronts. Or describe the finish yourself in a sentence.

The room does not move

No new furniture, no moved walls, no re-framed shot. Windows, doors, skirting, sockets, worktop shape and camera angle come back where they were, so a buyer sees the room they will walk into.

This is a weekend of paint, flooring and new cabinet fronts, not a renovation. If the room is empty, stage it first; if it is cluttered, declutter it first, then restyle the result.

Before you upload

Which photos work best

Works best

  • Furnished interiors with dated finishes: tired paint, old floors, worn cabinet fronts.
  • Kitchens and bathrooms, where cabinets, worktops and tiles make the biggest difference.
  • Bright, straight-on photos where the surfaces you want to change are clearly visible.

Avoid

  • Exterior photos. They are refused and you are not charged; for the outside, use Exterior Touch-up.
  • Empty rooms. Stage them first, then restyle the result.

Stays the same

The layout, windows, doors, fittings and camera angle stay. Only the finishes change.
