What this edit includes

Four fixes, only where needed

A natural sky

A grey, white or blown-out sky becomes the blue a photographer would have had on a good day, with the reflections in the windows updated to match. A sky that is already good is left alone.

A healthy lawn

Dead, patchy or brown grass becomes an even green lawn with real texture. The lawn keeps its shape and its edges against the drive and the beds. Nothing that is not grass turns green.

A clean driveway and paths

Oil stains, tyre marks, moss, weeds in the joints, leaves and puddles go. The paving, concrete or gravel keeps its material, colour and pattern. Nothing is repaved.

The clutter, gone

Wheelie bins, hoses, cables, ladders, tools, toys, boxes and a stray car in the drive are removed and the wall or paving behind them continued. Fences, gates, sheds, lamps, planters and the for-sale sign stay.

What is an exterior touch-up for real estate photos?

How is this different from Sky Replacement and Lawn Replacement?

Those two each make one change, with styles to pick from. Exterior Touch-up looks at the whole photo and fixes only what is wrong in each area, including the driveway and the clutter. Use it when a photo has a bit of everything wrong; use the single tools when you want a particular sky or lawn.

Does it change the house or add anything?

No. The house, roof, walls, windows, doors, fences, gates, plants and trees stay exactly as they are, at the same exposure. Nothing is added — no plants, no furniture — and the framing of the photo does not change.

Can I keep the sky, or the car in the driveway?

Yes. Switch off Sky and the sky and its reflections stay as shot; switch off Clutter and every object stays where it is. The other fixes still run.

Do I need to disclose a touched-up photo on the MLS?

Treat it like any digitally edited listing photo. Most boards allow it when you label the image, for example “digitally enhanced”. The property itself is unchanged — only the sky, the grass, the surface of the drive and movable objects are edited.
