How to upscale an image without losing quality
Open HD Upscale in Pixly's Photo AI, add the photo and click HD Upscale. In a few seconds it's up to four times bigger — up to 4096 px on the long side — with real detail added instead of blur. Your own uploads cost 1 credit; on any result Pixly made, the Upscale to HD button is free.

Photos that work best
- The original file, not a screenshot or a compressed copy.
- Sharp but small photos — it adds detail, it can't undo heavy blur.
- Results from other Pixly tools: use their free Upscale to HD button.
- Upscale last, after the other edits.
What to avoid
- Upscaling before editing — edit first, upscale the final photo.
- Expecting a blurry photo to become sharp: it enlarges detail that's there.
- Paying for results Pixly made — the Upscale to HD button on them is free.
