How to remove furniture from a photo
Open Remove Furniture in Pixly's Photo AI, add the furnished photo and click Remove Furniture. About half a minute later the same room is empty — walls, windows, floor and camera angle as they were. By default it also takes out the fitted kitchen, built-in wardrobes and bathroom fixtures; choose Movable furniture to keep those. It costs 1 credit.

The five steps
- 01
Open Remove Furniture
In Pixly, go to Photo AI and pick Remove Furniture under Rooms. If the furniture should stay and only the mess go, Declutter is right next to it.
- 02
Add the furnished photo
Upload it, drag it onto the page, paste it, or choose one from your library. A wide shot of the whole room works best.
- 03
Choose how much to remove (optional)
Fitted too (kitchen, wardrobes, bathroom) is the default: furniture and decor plus the fitted kitchen, built-in wardrobes and bathroom fixtures. Movable furniture keeps those. Add Floor for a full strip-back. Doors always stay.
- 04
Click Remove Furniture
The button shows the price: 1 credit. It usually takes 20–40 seconds.
- 05
Compare and save
The empty room opens next to the original. Switch between them, then save it — or furnish it again with Stage.

Photos that work best
- A wide shot from a corner, with the whole room in the frame.
- Daylight and straight verticals.
- One room per photo: only the room the camera is in is emptied.
- For a kitchen you want to keep, switch to Movable furniture first.
What to avoid
- Leaving Fitted too (kitchen, wardrobes, bathroom) on for a kitchen or bathroom you want to keep.
- Using it when the furniture should stay — Declutter is for that.
- Expecting the room behind a doorway to change: it stays as photographed.
