How to replace the sky in a photo
Open Sky Replacement in Pixly's Photo AI, add the outside photo and click Sky Replacement. A grey, overcast or blown-out sky becomes a natural blue one, with the reflections in windows and water updated to match; the house and trees stay as shot. It costs 1 credit.

These are the real Sky Replacement screens. Click a step to jump to it.

Photos that work best
- Shots where the roofline and trees stand clear against the sky.
- Overcast, white or hazy skies — that's what it's made for.
- Leave it on Auto: the sky matches the light and shadows already in the photo.
- Grass and driveway need work too? Exterior Touch-up fixes all of it in one pass.
What to avoid
- A sunset sky on a photo shot at noon with hard shadows — it won't look right.
- Expecting the house, garden or light on the walls to change — only the sky does.
- Photos with almost no sky in frame.
