Open-source software in Pixly

Some of Pixly's free tools run free software on your device. This page lists it, with its licence and where to get its source code.

DWG viewer: LibreDWG

The DWG/DXF viewer reads DWG files with GNU LibreDWG, compiled to WebAssembly by libredwg-web 0.8.1. It runs inside a separate program in your browser (a web worker) that reads the file and sends the page back the lines and texts to draw. Your file is not uploaded.

That worker is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, version 3 or (at your option) any later version. It is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Source code

The rest of Pixly is separate software that starts this worker and exchanges messages with it; it is not covered by the GPL. Questions about the source: [email protected].

DXF files: dxf-parser

DXF files are read with dxf-parser by GDS Storefront Estimating, under the MIT licence.
